Why be guilty
Our guilt reflects an attachment, a desire to be perfect.
Instead we should embrace our imperfections and understand them.
Then, rather than eliminating them we can let them go.
In this way, our imperfections help us travel forwards.
After all. To appreciate the relief of putting down a burden, you have to carry the burden for some time first!

Nice post, Andy. Let's see if I can take this a step further:
There can be no perfect without the imperfect, no imperfect without the perfect. Therefore, there is no perfect and no imperfect, there just is. Whatever it is, however it manifests itself, it just is. Anything else is to form an opinion rather than to see its true nature.
No perfection, no imperfection, no guilt, no burdon, no relief.

I hasten to add that this is easier said than done. Come back in 20 years and I'll let you know if I'm right
